All new Chevrolet Trax making a big impact
Motor Depot - East Yorkshire's only approved Chevrolet franchise - has reported that sales of the all-new Chevrolet Trax have surpassed expectations. And, what's more, it is banking on the buzz around the vehicle to continue.
Such is the demand for the compact SUV (sports utility vehicle), Motor Depot has moved quickly to tie up a deal which puts it in a position to offer pre-registered entry models from as little as £14,490 - more than £1000 cheaper than the vehicle's so-called 'sister car', the Vauxhall Mokka!
Motor Depot's managing director Steve Butterley said: "The Chevrolet Trax is a -highly-desirable vehicle which sits perfectly with our company ethos of delivering genuine value for money. We really believe in this vehicle and are excited by the deal which we are now able to offer our customers which I guarantee is the cheapest you will find anywhere in the country!"
Successfully launched amid much fanfare this summer, the Chevrolet Trax has drawn widespread industry praise for its muscular styling, practicality and pricing. Even so, Butterley admits he hadn't banked on the crossover vehicle faring quite so well in what is a congested SUV market.
He said: "The compact SUV segment is probably the fastest growing sector in the country, so there was just no telling how the Trax would fare. However, I am delighted to say that it has exceeded all expectations and - with feedback overwhelmingly positive - we fully anticipate that demand to continue."
With Chevrolet having recently thrown its marketing weight behind Manchester United and Liverpool football clubs to underpin ambitious UK growth plans, Butterley believes now is an exciting time to be involved with the brand.
He said: "The Chevrolet brand as a whole is achieving a real momentum in the marketplace right now with an ever-widening model line-up and great customer feedback. But the real 'game-changer' will be when it takes over the Manchester United shirt sponsorship from next season - the brand profile will soar! These are exciting times"
