Great Start for Motor Depot Birmingham
Less than a month after the "soft opening" of its new four-acre site, Motor Depot Birmingham is already exceeding expectations.
Already over 150 vehicles have been sold from its Garretts Green showroom - a remarkable figure considering the site isn't yet fully operational and promotion has been minimal so far.
General Manager Adam Lamb is understandably thrilled at how the new team at Birmingham have "hit the ground running" and is predicting a busy time ahead.
"It's crazy really. The Motor Depot signage has yet to go up, the phones and internet systems aren't fully installed and we've barely touched our marketing budget. Yet we've sold over 150 cars in less than a month!"
"The new team here have really hit the ground running and, once we soon get established with around 500 vehicles to select from, I can only see a bright future ahead."
According to Adam, much of the dealership's immediate success can simply be attributed to word of mouth.
"We have already had many people come and see us who have heard about our relaxed service and great range of quality cars from friends and family and through social media feedback.
"People are finding it really refreshing when they walk around our site. They know we're close enough to be able to help them, but being allowed to browse our vehicles in peace makes a nice change and it hasn't gone un-noticed."
Having already set the bar high at Birmingham, together with long-established sites in East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, Motor Depot believe it now has a foundation to press ahead with ambitious further expansion plans.
Managing Director Steve Butterley said: "The fact that our Birmingham site has already made such an immediate impact simply reinforces confidence in our company ethos of total transparency, a hassle-free sales approach and great quality cars which are price-checked daily.
"We are proving its a sales model which can be transported to new dealerships and it's allowing us to look forward to the future with even more optimism and excitement."
