Motordepot supports Louie and Avas Dream

Carrying on with our Support for local charity Life for a Kid, Motordepot are delighted to sponsor a charity Rugby League game to raise funds for Louie And Ava's dream.

Louie and Ava were born nine weeks prematurely and shortly afterwards their parents were told that cysts that had formed on their brains would lead to the children developing Cerebral Palsy, a condition which affects co-ordination and movement and is caused by damage to the brain.

Ava suffers from Diplegic Cerebral Palsy (affecting both her lower limbs) and Louie suffers from Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy (affecting both upper and lower limbs) and also epilepsy. Ava can use a little Kaye Walker but needs constant supervision and Louie is able to sit independently but needs constant support for all mobility.

Ava has been granted an operation on the NHS that will give her a better chance of walking as she gets older. Unfortunately Louie was declined as he didn't meet the NHS criteria.

Like all parents, Louie and Ava's parents want the best for both of their children and launched Louie and Ava's dreams to raise funds to be able to send Louie to America to undergo the same surgery as his sister has been granted in England. The funds will also go towards acquiring the equipment that will help both Louie and Ava in their recovery after surgery.

The Charity Rugby game featuring Louie & Ava Allstars v's Life for a Kid Select kicks off at 13:30 on Saturday 9th July at Marist RU Club on Cranbrook Avenue, Hull. We're sure it will be a great spectacle and help raise valuable funds for such a great cause.

On the same evening there will be an after party at The Pilot on Beverley Road, Hull. Starting at 7pm and will be an Evening with Rugby League legends Andy Gregory and Johnny Whiteley. Tickets are £5 and can be purchased from dean@lifeforakid.com.

Rugby Shirts sponsored by Motordepot can be purchased from dean@lifeforakid.com for £20

As a result of their diagnosis Ava suffers from diplegic Cerebral Palsy (affecting both her lower limbs)
and Louie suffers from Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy (affecting both upper and lower limbs) and also epilepsy. Ava can use a little Kaye Walker but needs constant supervision and Louie is able to sit independently but needs constant support for all mobility.
