Motordepot - the Humber region's largest independently-owned car supermarket - and one of the fastest growing car supermarkets in the UK has bolstered its presence in the area by acquiring new premises in Grimsby.
Hot on the heels of Motordepot Birmingham's opening, we have moved swiftly to consolidate our position in the East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire region by snapping up the new site, completing a deal to take over the Godfrey Auto Parts premises on the West Coates Road. A purpose built showroom which was formerly part of the old Dixons Motors site.
After renovations are completed, Motordepot Grimsby will have the capacity to stock 150 vehicles, we are hopeful that the new site will be fully stocked and operational before the end of September.
Having successfully expanded into Birmingham at the start of 2015, the Grimsby site adds to our growing portfolio of used car dealerships and compliments existing sites in Hull, Hessle and Scunthorpe.
We're confident this is only the start of our expansion plans in what looks to be a very bright future for the company, a future that will enable us to provide our customers with even better deals and service.
Managing director Steve Butterley believes that the opening of new premises in Grimsby reflects "a natural expansion" for the company which first began trading in Hull 12 years ago.
He said: "Motordepot has long desired a presence in Grimsby, but it's been a question of waiting for the right premises to become available".
"The new site on West Coates Road occupies a prominent road side location and it will enable us to continue to grow our brand throughout the Lincolnshire area".
Recruitment for new positions including Branch Manager, Business Manager, Customer Advisers, Service Advisers, Technicians, Valet and Sales Administrators will begin imminently and anyone interested should keep an eye on our careers page for the latest vacancies or send a CV and covering letter to jointheteam[email protected]
