Motordepot raises money for L6ve Life Foundation

Mon 29th Feb 2016

Following a joint-initiative with Barclays Partner Finance in November 2015, Motordepot was able to present a cheque for £6,285 to one of our nominated charities, the L6ve Life Foundation.

Set up by motor neurone disease sufferer Lee Newton, the L6ve Life Foundation raises funds to help find a cure for the muscle-wasting condition whilst also providing support to those already living with motor neurone disease.

L6ve Life Foundation trustee Carl Wiles said: "All those involved with the L6ve Life charity, especially Lee and his wife Caroline, have been humbled by the support we continue to receive. We can't thank Motordepot enough for this kind and very generous donation."

Motordepot spokesman John Brocklehurst said: "Hero is an over-used word, but not in the case of Lee Newton.

"The courage, defiance and undaunted spirit he has shown in the face of extreme adversity has inspired a fantastic team around him, and it's brilliant to see the L6ve Life Foundation go from strength-to-strength.

"It's a magnificent cause and it goes without saying that we are proud to contribute."
